It may be more accurate to call this "Thinking About Unemployment."
I have heard that those folks who are considered "long-term unemployed" will be given an extension on their benefits. This is good news for people who are victims of the recession caused by a combination of greed and poor business decisions.
Perhaps the most curious thing about the political discussions is this: Some supporters of continuing unemployment benefits state that these benefits stimulate the economy. People simply have money to spend on necessities like food and rent.
Sounds reasonable to me.

Welcome
This new blog is part of the foundation for my communications, marketing and writing business - www.jimswords.com
Village Conversations is a Web site devoted to political issues, social issues and important personal issues. I created this blog as part of the Village Conversations section of my overall business.
I use the word "business" somewhat reluctantly because my primary aim is to communicate with others and encourage two-way conversations around the planet.
